School Uniform
The school uniform identifies the individual as belonging to the whole. It should be worn neatly and correctly and with pride. All items of clothing must be clearly marked with the student's name.

Uniforms
The school hat is compulsory and must be worn at all times when students are outdoors. Students without a hat will be made to sit in the undercroft during recess and lunchtime, or in the shade during physical education or sport.
If students are not in uniform on a regular basis a note will be sent home which is required to be signed and returned to school. Students will be expected to make the appropriate changes in a timely manner.
Jewellery Hair and Make Up
No necklaces (discreet, approved necklaces with a cross or crucifix accepted), bangles, broaches or rings. Any of these items of jewellery worn to school will be kept safely and returned to your child at the end of the school day. Only piercing per er lobe (stud earrings or sleepers) is permissible. All other forms of body piercing are NOT acceptable.
Hair should be worn off the face and natural hair colours only. Shoulder length must be tied back. This applies to both boys and girls.
Make-up and nail varnish is not acceptable. Students will be asked to remove make-up and nail varnish. Nail extensions are also not permitted. Long nails are discouraged at school and must be taped when participating in Physical Education.
St Mary's Uniform Shop
St Mary's Uniform Shop is open Monday's during the term from 2.30pm -3.30pm for new and secondhand uniforms. Payment for uniforms is requested on the day of purchase. Payments may be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. The shop is located in the storeroom adjacent to the High School undercroft.
